Simultaneous interpreting by ITC Worldwide at European Left party meeting

ITC Worldwide was yesterday responsible for English/French/Spanish simultaneous interpreting at a work meeting of the Secretariat of the Party of the European Left (EL).

An ITC team of four interpreters along with corresponding technical support were assigned to the NH Málaga for the gathering.

Since June 1998 the EL has grouped representatives from various Socialist, Communist and Green leftist parties in the European Union. The original aim was to find new ways and forms of cooperation “on the eve of the 1999 elections to the European Parliament”.

The picture shows part of the ITC Worldwide team which provided interpreting support during the meeting.

Among other subjects, the participants at the gathering considered results from the recent European Forum for Alternatives held last May in Paris as well as the programme of the upcoming EL Summer University to be held in the Czech Republic in July.
